  • Can I extend my booking?

    Yes, you can extend your booking if the gear is not already reserved by another customer. Just contact us as soon as possible to check availability. Additional hire fees will apply based on the extension period.

    If your return overlaps with another booking, we may not be able to extend — so early notice is best!

  • What if I damage the unit?

    You're responsible for the gear during your hire period. If something is damaged, lost, or not returned, the bond may be withheld to cover costs. See our Hire Policy for full details.

  • Do I need a boat?

    Yes — our equipment is designed to be mounted on your own vessel or hire boat. A rail is recommended for the pole bracket.

  • What’s included in the hire?

    All hires come packed in a durable YETI LoadOut GoBox case and include:

    • Garmin or Lowrance chartplotter
    • LiveScope transducer - LVS34 or Active Target 2
    • Lithium battery (100Ah)
    • Mounting pole and bracket
    • All required cables and connectors
  • Can someone help me set it up?

    Yes! We provide a quick setup guide and can walk you through it at pickup. If needed, we're happy to help with basic setup or questions via phone during your trip.

  • Do I need to wire anything into my boat or make modifications?

    No — all of our hire units are fully portable and self-contained. There's no hardwiring or permanent installation required.

    The system comes with:

    • A lithium battery (pre-charged)
    • A mounting pole with bracket (clamps onto your rail)
    • All cables and connectors ready to plug in

    Just mount, power on, and you’re ready to fish. It’s perfect for boats with minimal setup space or for renters who don’t want to modify anything.
