MarineTech Hire – Hire Agreement

1. Parties to the Agreement
This Hire Agreement is between MarineTech Hire ("we", "us", "our") and you, the customer ("you", "your").

2. Equipment Details
You are hiring a Garmin or Lowrance Fish Sounder/LiveScope Unit with mounts, cables, batteries, and pole.
All equipment is supplied in excellent condition.

3. Hire Period
Hire starts and ends on the dates confirmed in your booking.
Late returns may incur additional charges (see Clause 6).

4. Hire Fee and Bond

• Hire fees must be paid in full before equipment is collected.

• A $250 refundable security bond applies.

• Bond will be refunded within 3 business days after the equipment is returned and inspected, provided there is no loss or damage.

5. Collection and Return

• Pickup/return location: Fisho’s TackleWorld – 59 Torquay Rd, Pialba (during business hours or as arranged).

• Equipment must be returned clean, dry, and in the same condition.

• Late returns are charged at $250 per day.

6. Damage, Loss & Liability

• You are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage during the hire period.

• Repair/replacement costs will be deducted from the bond.

• If costs exceed the bond, you agree to pay the difference.

7. Use of Equipment

• Use only for marine recreational fishing.

• Do not modify or tamper with the device.

• Do not submerge electronic units.

• Do not leave equipment unattended or unsecured.

8. Limitation of Liability
MarineTech Hire is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage caused by use or misuse of the equipment.
Fishing results are not guaranteed.

9. Cancellation Policy

• 48+ hours notice: Full refund

• Within 48 hours: 50% refund

• No show/no notice: No refund

10. Agreement
