Refund policy
MarineTech Hire – Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our booking schedule.
Cancellations
You may cancel your booking at any time. The following conditions apply:

More than 48 hours before pickup
Full refund of hire fee and deposit. -
Within 24–48 hours of pickup
50% of the hire fee will be refunded.
Your deposit will be fully refunded. -
Less than 24 hours before pickup / No show
No refund of hire fee.
Deposit will be refunded.
Refund of Bond
A $200 refundable bond is held during your hire period. This will be refunded in full within 3 business days after return, provided:
- Equipment is returned on time
- All components are clean, undamaged, and accounted for
- No late fees or damage costs are incurred
If any items are missing, damaged, or returned late, repair/replacement costs will be deducted from your bond. If damages exceed the bond amount, an invoice for the balance will be issued.
